Kell had been gone for far too long but Holland had eventually set the book aside and allowed himself to stretch out over the others bed. It still smelled so much like him that Holland hugged the pillow close and smiled faintly.

But eventually Kell had come back. Holland felt him long before he had seen him.

He watched him lazily under heavy lashes and while he didn’t smirk, it was there in his voice, “How hard was that for you?”
