Kell doesn't fight Holland on it, settling into his lap and quickly relaxing into the hold as his head rests on his shoulder.

"Travel is not so difficult for us...or for me if you are King then you wouldn't be able to leave as often. Would you make me choose between Lila and you?" Kell asks carefully.

And he knew it wouldn't be knowledge to the general public, though, too many would not be pleased after everything that had happened.

Unconsciously pulling Kells hips closer, he hummed quietly and rested his head against the others.

Being King was never his goal. He didn't want that. Would he step into that role and at least get the ball rolling? Definitely. But ultimately he just wanted...things to be better, easier, less broken.

The question startles him briefly and he has it in him to scoff.

"No," he replies easily, "and even if I did forbid you, Delilah would most definitely have my head for it."

He quiets, a seriousness falling over him before he continues, "No. I wouldn't deny you that connection. She is unbalanced, too sharp, too impulsive," he breathed, "but, you're good for each other."

Kell relaxed in Holland's hold. There's something so safe in it, something he'd been seeking and he couldn't get over the fact he had it and now that he did he's desperate not to lose it again. One of his hands searches out one of Holland's to hold, lacing fingers together if the other allows it.

"I think... she wouldn't make me choose either," Kell says carefully. He knows that she understands him, she'd understand this too. She always needs more. Perhaps Holland is his ship, just happens to be a person.

"And you are stable, controlled and calculated. I need you both."

Holland doesn't see it, but his fingers curl and fold to meet that lacing. The hold is both soft and strong and he closes his eyes upon realizing that he...is slowly allowing himself things that he thought he was too broken for before.

He didn't so much hope, as wish that this could continue. Somewhere not on a rocky sea in a stupid boat in the middle of almost no where.

"...and I hate ships."

Kell hadn't been sure that Holland would let their fingers lace together, that he'd give in to that intimacy.

"I'm not a huge fan either but I take to them better than you," Kell smirks a little bit to himself.

"You two are complete opposites and I feel somewhere in the middle."

Holland couldn't exactly run away from it, at least. Not without tossing Kell right onto his ass or something overly dramatic. And it was nice. The touch.

But he can feel the amusement radiating off of Kell and he frowns, brow furrowing with the start of an argument but what comes next is actually very true.

However, Holland considers Kell more...in line with him than anyone.

"If I never have to be on another ship, I would not be at all disappointed."

Ships were horrible things. Rocky, sick machines. Even now, just thinking about it his stomach was getting more uneasy.

"Be careful with Delilah. She wields magic without any thought or hesitation and her control is utter garbage," he scoffs and tips his head back against the cabin wall, "She bites off more than she can chew."

"Are you jealous?" Holland asks, lifting his head and looking at Holland. The fingers of his other hand pull at his clothes. He didn't now what he's doing. He just... wants to feel the other's skin.

"She will learn... until then, hopefully, I can keep saving her from herself." Or Alucard, he's done that plenty to Kell begrudgingly is grateful for that.

His lips press against Holland's throat, as the other's head is tipped back leaving it easy to attack.

"Of what, exactly?" Holland sounded bored but he was quietly wondering just what that hand was up to--or at least until it was obvious. The mouth against his throat was show enough.

But he stayed where he was, not making a move to stop or encourage even if he did swallow softly and crack his eyes open.

"Hopefully she learns before she gets one of you killed."

Kell didn't answer as he pulled back enough to lift the shirt off completely, dropping it to the side. He pressed his lips again to his throat not letting go of the hand that their fingers were laced together but the other slides down his chest, brushing a nipple along the path. They had some more time...

He doesn't stop even as they keep talking about Lila. Perhaps that should have given him some pause all things considered but it didn't.

"She tends to only learn by almost dying," Kell says, biting at Holland's collarbone and there's a moment of hesitation with himself before he starts shifting as he kisses downward to explore the other's torso with his mouth as he shifts lower and lower. His hand was already much lower, cupping over Holland. He didn't let himself think, if he thought about what he was doing he'd feel uncertain.

"Reckless," Holland breathed. Whether he was talking about Kell or Delilah, he wasn't certain. All of his focus was zeroed in on what Kell was doing. His fingers, the pressure of his body as it shifted against him and soon down too low.

He tipped his head down to watch the path Kell took and licked his lips softly. Why was he so beautiful? All of that red hair, the pale skin, those eyes...

"You're not allowed to die for her stupidity," he growled softly and moved his free hand to brush along Kells cheek, and up into his hair.

Kell almost points out that all of them can be reckless but he doesn't. He focuses on the path he's taking down Holland's body. How much he wants to drown in the pleasure of it. he wants Holland so much.

"None of us are allowed to die," Kell does retort as he slid down further until he's completely off of Holland's slip, kneeling between his legs as he looks up at him, hands working on the other's pants as he kisses over his lower stomach.

"None of us are allowed to die," he repeats quietly, half out of thought, half out of trying to believe that.

Delilah would see him dead before anyone else would.

But he couldn't think too much on that right now. Not when Kell was on his knees between his legs looking at him like that, peppering his body with kisses that made him actually consider staying on this damn ship forever.

Kell is not letting either of them kill each other and he knows he can stop it even if it could be a difficult task. He pulls the other's pants back off pressing kisses over his thighs and his hand wrapped around him.

"I've been starving."

"Are they not feeding you properly back in Red London?" Holland asked, adjusting to help Kell get his pants off again. The kisses continued and he rumbled a soft, low sound of approval as his fingers sank deeper into that red tuft of curl and wave.

Shame.

Seems like Rhy is going to have to deal with a lot of sensations not his own for once.

"Question...if the connection just physical or emotional, as well?" Can Rhy feel the hunger?

Once the other's pants were down he shifted closer, kissing further up but still ignoring the other's cock for now. Before he hadn't had time to figure out what he was doing and he wants to figure it out even if he also wants to have Holland inside of him again. The other's hand in his hair is more of a turn on than he could have imagined before. There's so much he couldn't have imagined.

Kell looks up at the question and his gaze slid away for a moment. "It's everything," he says, maybe not the details but the feelings, the pleasure, the pain, everything was shared one way or another.

Holland tips his head and gently tugs Kells attention back to him, “So you’ll have some explaining to do when you go home, I see,” he murmured quietly and shifted on the cot to give Kell better access to him.

His legs shifted further apart, “Focus on me for now.”

Kell's eyes meet Holland's again. "Maybe he won't ask," Kell says and he could hope for that because how does he explain all of this to Rhy? He's going to have to figure out how to explain it in general eventually, though.

A slight smile tugs at the corner of Kell's mouth, his fingers brushing over the other's cock without taking him in hand.

"I can hardly believe I'm doing this," he says quietly, leaning in so his lips ghost against the tip of his length as he does finally wrap his fingers, stroking him slowly.

How long could they steal time here?

"IF Rhy doesn't ask, then clearly you weren't enjoying yourself." Holland counters idly and just watches Kell. Every movement was lazy, and despite this really being the first (and probably only) time together, it felt...like they'd been doing this forever. Maybe not the acts themselves but the dance around them.

“Sounds like you want him to know, almost... and maybe I like making you wait,” Kell replies, his mouth still there teasing as his hand strokes. And maybe he’s nervous now that he’s there.

But he licks a line along the underside then as he strokes downward holding him at the base then. He’ll stop teasing.

"Perhaps," Holland agrees. Maybe a part of him did want Rhy to know. Maybe he wanted the Prince to understand how Kell felt every time he went off galavanting with someone.

But his mind shifted from that train of thought and landed on Kells nerves. He was pretty good at pretending he had this mostly under control but not good enough. Holland suddenly wished they did have more time. More space. Less ears listening in. (Rhy would have always been there but the others? Not so much.)

"...we will have time for teasing," he finally admits--caving to the idea that maybe they would in fact have more time together.

TIMESKIP

The hour didn't matter, Holland had the opportunity to come and so he had.

It was easier to have a pathway directly to Kells quarters, and when he arrived, he moved over to the younger mans bed and perched on the side of it, watching him for a moment or two before he reached out and brushed his hair back away from his eyes.

Kell arrives not much later and through the main doors to his quarters. It had been long day already with Rhy. He notices Holland right away as the doors close behind him, shedding his coat and tossing it off to the side as he looked at him.

“Holland,” Kell isn’t even surprised by how happy he is to see him, going to him immediately.

This kind of pleasure was something he was still getting used to. Stolen moments between the two of them.

When Kell wandered in and towards him, it felt like some sort of weight had fallen from his shoulders. One hand is outstretched, reaching for him even before he makes it to him.

"Is it a bad time?"

“No, it’s a perfect time,” Kell said and wraps his arms around Holland’s shoulder, leaning to press their foreheads together. “I had no idea how much I needed to see you until I saw you...”

Hollands eyes close at the touch and he leans a little more forward into the younger man before opening them again to look over his face.

"Likewise," he breathed, both hands curling against the others hips; just keeping him where he was so he could be close and stay that way for a while, "You were with Rhy? Or did you have business?"

“Rhy,” Kell answers, and steps in closer to him still. He certainly didn’t want to put any distance between them. His fingers slid into the others hair, curling against the back of his head.
